20 Pretty Powerful Years

This year marks 20 years since the launch of my company. What started off as a simple idea – the perfect nude lipstick – has turned into so much more than I ever could have imagined.  To mark this milestone, I’ve created this limited edition lip palette.

In addition to the first 10 shades of lipstick that I ever created (including my personal favorite, Brown #4) it also features 10 new super bright options for those moments when you just want to have fun. Lady Ruba, a neon orange hue, is inspired by my funky creative director who always seems to be a few steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to style.

Now that’s a palette I can get behind (I don’t love most palettes). Every color looks like one I want to try.

    Hi Bobbi!
I love your products but I am getting a bit confused about all your lipglosses!

Shimmer gloss and high shimmer gloss seem the same then came the lip gloss but that seems a mixture of the rich color gloss and the sheer gloss and I am wondering if you could maybe do a guide to your lip glosses?

Hi, i am a big fan of your products. I wish to say i haven’t come across lipsticks and lip colors better than made by bobbibrown. Still i have a request/suggestion — a few years ago you had lip crayons which were the best. The color and texture of shades like Naked Pink, Nude Berry and Warm Rose were just great — the newer lip crayon line, unfortunately doesn’t have the same quality in both texture and color range. I hope Bobbi Brown reads my comment here and thinks about reintroducing the same line of lip crayons again. And i still remember the color called Brown Berry which Bobbi Brown introduced in one of her first lip crayon range — it wa just great. The new lip crayons are just too glossy and not enough matte — whereas the old line just had the perfect combination of deep, long-lasting pigment as well as softness.

I moved to the United States from Romania in 1988, at 18. I still remember watching clips about Bobbi Brown on the now defunct Canadian show, Fashion TV. When her makeup line launched, I drove for 6 hours to go to the Neiman Marcus in Atlanta, where I ordered $300 of her makeup products (mostly lipsticks and lipliners, because for the first time I could find something that looked good on my pale olive skin). Through the years the trips got shorter (Orlando’s Mall at Millenia), until we finally started carrying her line in Jacksonville. But I will always remember my first trip to find her products – this was my first expensive, well made, makeup line, and the beginning of my love story with makeup! Happy 20th Anniversary!!!

Your products are amazing and your tips really work for me: I read all your books. I have one question: please, think about cream bronzers in your line! For the past 10 years I have been using the most famous one out there which is just one colour, great for some months of the year but not all year round. As I have seen bronzer makes the difference on my face, but my skin is dry on the cheeks and I like a dewy/satin finish I would really like to have more choices in terms of colour but with the great Bobbi Brown quality which has never let me down. Thanks for your job, Bobbi, and for sharing your thoughts and experience.

Wow, I’m impressed! I love your products, completely addicted to it! However where I live at the moment, Qatar in the Middle East, it’s almost impossible to get the newest BB products, there’s only one shop that sells BB and is always at least 4/5 months late and can’t order on-line as payment is not accepted from outside USA credit cards :(
But that doesn’t make me stop being addicted to BB make up and cosmetics.
Happy 20th Anniversary and wish you many more full of Glam and success.
