Evelyn was an extraordinary woman who changed many people for the better and I consider myself lucky to have called her my friend. Everything Evelyn did—whether it was caring for her family, developing fragrances or helping find a cure for breast cancer—she did with the utmost grace and passion. But make no mistake about it, she also had a wicked sense of humor. Evelyn was the ultimate nurturer and a Jewish mother to us all. She was an inspiration and a bright light. -BB

Every jewish mother is a bright light and an inspiration.So are you Bobbi – just as Ms. Lauder of blessed memory , inspired you – you have inspired me . The emphasis on your family is what I can relate to most as I am a mother of 6 , one child is a special needs child. I have created a small line of natural and organic prestige products and you were the spark that ignited my dream. I believe in ” paying it forward” helping and giving back , while always being humble and realizing that everything comes from G-d. I wish you continued success and would love nothing more than having the honor to meeting you( although I did say hello to you as you entered the Plaza today!!! ) – and learning from you .I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you in person today at the WCBS luncheon for women in business. Thank you with all of my heart for the goodness you bring to the world through your compasionate good deeds and countless accomplishments.!!

I was very sad to hear of the loss of this great lady.
My Mom passed away from cancer when I had just turned 19, and I know so many other families that have had similar losses.
One thing that always reminds me of our Mom, to this very day, is the scent of Youth Dew…..this was her signature perfume and when I pass a woman that is wearing it, my mind immediately goes to thoughts of my beloved Mom.
May God be with and bless the entire Lauder family at this time, and in the future.
