I’ve always maintained that groomed brows are a quick and easy way to freshen up any woman’s look. Beautiful, well-defined arches are truly transformative and create a focal point for the entire face. Here, I share my top tips on brow grooming:
Properly shaped brows can lift and define your eyes, making you look fresh and well-rested. Use your natural brow shape as a guide when tweezing; it’s about fine-tuning rather than re-creating your brows.
Pluck stray hairs between the brows making sure the inner corner of the brow lines up with the inner corner of the eye. To help minimize discomfort, pull hairs in the direction they are growing in one quick motion.
Tweeze hairs growing below the brow including those that appear just below the arch; this is the best way to enhance the natural arch of your brow. Finish by cleaning up stray hairs above the outer corners of the brows.
For the most natural look, define your brows with a pencil or shadow that is the same tone as your hair color. If you have black hair, use mahogany or smoke as charcoal and black are too harsh.
If you have gaps in your brows or need to lengthen over-plucked brows, use a soft eye pencil to draw in short, hair-like lines.
Apply shadow through brows in light, feathery strokes using an Eye Brow Brush. Start at the inner corner of the brow and end at the outer corner of the brow.
Tame unruly brow hairs with a coat of Natural Brow Shaper.
