The best thing about blush is if it’s worn correctly, you need little to no other makeup. Blush can completely stand on it’s own. Pick the right shade and you’ll find it warms up your entire complexion and imparts a perfect flush of natural-looking color.
If you’re uncertain of where to begin (so many shades! so many textures!), just follow our guides as a quick way to brush up on blush.
Creme/Gel Blush
1. Apply over clean skin or foundation. The product can be applied with fingers, a foundation brush, or a sponge.
2. Use sparingly at first. You can always add more product if needed.
3. Smile, and apply the product to the apples of the cheeks and up toward the hairline, then down to soften the edges.
4. Blend thoroughly, keeping the most product on the highest part of the cheekbones.
Powder Blush
1. Smile and apply the product to the apple of the cheeks.
2. Blend toward the hairline, then down to soften the edges.
3. Blend thoroughly, keeping the most product on the highest part of the cheekbones.
4. Step back and consider the results. Turn your head to each side. Your face should look absolutely natural and balanced. A powder puff or fingers can be used to soften and correct a heavy application.
Our must-have shades the season? Nude Pink and Nude Peach, which coordinate beautifully with our latest Neons & Nudes collection.
Watch the video for how to apply.
Love to see a video on how to apply creme blush on an “older face” without doing the “apple”. Shades don’t include your new NEON look, do they,in creme? I have very high cheek bones but the very thin face as well.

Hi, really like your blushesr and wondered if you’d consider making a retractable blusher brush with the powder blusher in the lid. You could also sell the blusher lids separately in a variety of different colours so you can replace when they run out or you can use the same brush and interchange the lids to use a different colour. It would make a makeup essential easy to carry in your handbag for touch ups during the day. Just a thought!

Wonderfully informative post! I love the Nude Pink blush and the fact that it is matte. I always find that blush with shimmer is too shiny and makes my face look oily in pictures. Do you have any suggestions for choosing cream vs. powder depending on factors such as time of year and skin type? Thanks!
