A few months ago, I received an incredibly sweet note from a few young girls in Crystal, MN. They wrote to me about their love for makeup and how they were inspired by the “be who you are” philosophy of my Pretty Powerful campaign. The girls attend the FAIR School, which focuses in the fine arts. Many of them aspire to be dancers and actresses, so they were eager for tips on how to apply makeup that is age-appropriate, yet suitable for their many auditions.
We sent one of our artistry and education executives, Kim Rose, to their school for a little makeup lesson. They spent time with Kim Rose learning everything from how to choose colors and how to enhance their natural beauty.

The girls were overjoyed by the visit — and they especially loved the Beauty Rules palettes we surprised them with for their future auditions.

Check out the photos they took- they are a truly inspirational group of girls.
XO,
Bobbi

Dear Bobbi,
It was vey nice to meet you in Portland this Saturday. If my cell phone would have worked properly, I would have never had the chance to get to meet you. I had no idea who you were until then. After you generously gave me few samples of cosmetic products, I did call my wife in France to share with her that an unknowned laddy gave me some samples. She immediatly told me how lucky I was to meet you and how pleasant your products were.
Thank you for your spontanuousity and human kindness. Good luck with everything.
Sincerely,
Jean-Philippe

What a sweet gesture! I bet these girls were so excited to receive your product and instruction. It is so important that young girls learn early on how to look like themselves.

OMG, I live in a city next to Crystal MN and it was so nice to see something good going on so close to home. Koodles to Bobbi Brown for taking the time to visit with these young ladies and showing them some make up tips that they can carry with them into adulthood.
