How-To: Power Brows

I’ve been a huge Brooke Shields fan since the early 80’s, when she was one of the most idolized actresses of our generation. Her big, bold eyebrows were her trademark—and she wore them with confidence. For me, that statement has never gone out of style; I’ve always favored a strong, well-defined brow to perfectly frame a woman’s face.  -BB

Check me out- sporting brows like Brooke, circa 1984~

Here’s the modern way to have perfectly groomed brows-

Step 1: Choose Your Color

Always choose a shadow color that matches your eyebrows and hair.

Step 2: Add Definition

Using the Eye Brow Brush apply Shadow starting at the inner corner of the brow.  Follow its natural shape using light, feathery strokes. You can also use an Eye Brow Pencil to fill in gaps with light pencil strokes.

Step 3: Create An Arch

The inside corner of the brow should be brushed up and the rest of the brow should be brushed up and over so it frames the eye in an arch.

Step 4: Follow The Line

Make sure the brow is long enough.  If you’ve accidentally over-darkened your brows- you can hit them with a little face powder on a puff to take down the intensity.

Have you checked out our new Brow Kit yet? It comes in both Light and Dark, has two shades of eye shadow powder, a set of tweezers, a mini Eye Brow Brush and both a regular and a magnifying mirror! Check out the fun illustration by Donald, our head of creative,  that explains the features of the kit.
