I just got back from an amazing week in Europe, where I celebrated my brand’s 20th anniversary with events in Paris and London. The trip started with two whirlwind days in Paris, which has always been one of my favorite cities. Here’s my scrapbook…
Veronika Ullmer, my VP of Global Communications
Ambassador Charles Rivkin and his wife Ms. Susan Tolson, hosted a cocktail party at their beautiful private residence.
More than 200 guests packed the house. I met tons of local and international personalities from the world of art, music, design and photography. Among them, French actresses Virginie Ledoyen, Julie Depardieu, Marie-Josée Croze, Marina Fois and Aure Atika, designer, model and style icon Inès de la Fressange and pop star Micky Green.
Clockwise from upper left- Julie Depardieu, Inès de la Fressange, Marina Foïs, Ali Mahdavi, Marie-Josée Croze, Inès de la Fressange, Micky Green, Aure Atika and Virginie Ledoyen
Over cocktails, guests looked at a display of photos while a short film titled “The Wise Cracking Beauty Queen” was projected onto an oversized screen in the grand salon. Both were a collaboration with my friend and mentor Bruce Weber in celebration of my 20th anniversary.
We enjoyed delicious passed hors d’œuvres and champagne, and danced into the night to music by DJ duo Les Jumeaux.
It was the most amazing, fab party of my life (besides my wedding) and I had to pinch myself to know that it was real.
I fell into bed right after the event, because I had to catch an early train the next morning to London… -BB
