There are so many things I love about the UK: the people, the accents, that Union Jack flag (I’m obsessed). Too many things to count! I just can’t tell you what it is… I just love all things British.

Even my dogs think they’re British.
First off, I’m a tea fanatic so you know I must have some British blood somewhere. I so wish we had teatime in the states. My favorite thing to throw is a good old-fashioned tea party with lots of peonies and English scones. It’s too fun.
Then, there’s Queen Elizabeth II. Such a strong lady, yet always elegant and feminine. She’s the queen of Pretty Powerful women, for sure.

And, of course, I can’t forget my favorite hotel: The Connaught. Smack in the heart of London’s Mayfair area, I love it so much it’s going to get it’s own blog post post (stay tuned).

To top it all off, you’ve got the London Olympic Games and the Queen’s Jubilee happening this summer too—it’s almost too much for an Anglophile like me to handle. One look around my office, my home, even my purse and you’ll see why my friends think I may have a problem.

Union Jack Birthday Cake!
