This summer is all about the U.K.. With two huge events in 2012—the Olympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee—it’s all eyes on Great Britain.

We wanted to do something special for our friends across the pond (since I love it there so much) so our Creative Team went all out. The result? This gorgeous version of the United Kingdom’s Union Jack flag which you can go see at Liberty London.

Anyone who has ever been in my office will tell you I have a Union Jack problem—I love that BRITISH FLAG!

It took them 11 hours using almost 500 lipsticks and eye shadows to create their makeup masterpiece (sneak a peek at their process below). Next, my favorite photographer Henry Leutwyler got the shot.
