BB’s BB Cream

You asked, we listened. Meet BB Cream SPF 35, the all-in-one skincare/makeup hybrid that’s destined to be your skin’s new best friend (we’re basically making friendship bracelets for it as we speak). Get it exclusively at Nordstom in July and on BobbiBrownCosmetics.com this August. In one word, we’re obsessed.

So what’s all the buzz about BB Cream? If you’ve never heard of it—which is almost impossible because it reigns supreme in Asia as the go-to formula for beautiful skin—BB stands for ‘beauty balm’ (though we like to think it stands for yours truly, Bobbi Brown).

What it does:

- Moisturizes
- Controls Oil
- Brightens Dullness
- Evens Tone
- Targets Wrinkles
- UVA/UVB Protection
- Stands in line for you at the DMV (ok, not the last one, but you get the picture)

What makes ours the ultimate BB Cream? True to Bobbi’s philosophy that great looking skin starts with skin tone correct shades, we’ve got everyone covered—from very fair to very deep complexions—with 5 natural-looking shades. More dark shades coming soon.

The best part? It’s super easy to apply—like a lightweight moisturizer—and extremely buildable too so you can control the coverage depending on your desired finish. Just use your fingertips, sponge or a brush to apply a thin even layer. You can even use it as a makeup base (if only we could multitask like that).

So glad to here that Bobbi Brown is creating a BB Cream. I’ve wanted to try one but all the other brands I’ve seen offer only a few shades and they are not my shade! Thank you Bobbi for offering shades for all women. I know I’ll be buying the extra light at Nordstrom’s ASAP.

Excited to try it! However, why are there 4 shades for light skin, and only one for dark?

We’re looking to expand our shade range in the NEW BB Cream but hope you’ll try Medium to Dark. If it’s too light—our SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer is a great alternative with a wider range of shades.

Try contacting your local Bobbi Brown counter for insight on availability + dates for the NEW BB Cream. If they don’t have it yet—they can definitely contact you when it comes in so you don’t miss out.

Great timing! Am ready to reorder the Tinted Moisturizer, so will get the BB cream instead. I use the Extra Light in the moisturizer, but the BB extra light looks reeeeeeely light! Can you tell me if they’re very similar?

Also…. (grumble, grumble) I live in Ventura, CA and the closest place to purchase BB products is 25 miles from me. We have a Sephora and ULTA in the area but no one carries BB; not even our Macy’s. Boo hoo! Any chance of BB coming to our neighborhood soon?

I am a avid Tinted Moisturizer user – I swear on this stuff. I have heard so much about BB creams and it just seems all to confusing. Can this BB cream be used in place of your tinted moisturizer or with it? I will definately get a sample to try as soon as I can. Thanks Bobbie Brown – this brown girl (well almost 50 woman) loves you!

    Hey Bobbi!

Coming from Asia, I have tried a lot of BB creams and this one is my favorite hands down. You guys gotta try it! We got it here in Singapore a while back as a travel exclusive at the airport and I’m glad it’ll be available everywhere! You can check out my review on the BB cream if you’d like. :)

Is BB cream eolient enough for really dry, menopausal skin? I’ve been using the tinted balm but I like the convenience of a tube instead of a jar.

NEW BB Cream is great for dry skins and will help to hydrate. If needed—you can also apply an additional moisturizer under it for added hydration. Still unsure? Chat live with an online Bobbi Artist by going to Bobbibrown.com and clicking on “Talk with an Artist”.

Is this a different formula from the BB Creams available in Asia? I purchased the Bobbi Brown BB Cream in Hong Kong over Christmas 2011 and liked it, but the shade I got (I think it was “light”) was the darkest shade available. It was okay for the winter, but I’m darker in the summer and can’t use it!

Same great formula! Check with your local Bobbi Brown counter to inquire about shade availability & work with an Artist to find your ideal shade.

I am beyond excited about the Bobbi Brown BB cream! In Korea, it’s called Blemish Balm, but I like Bobbi’s term “beauty balm” much better. I’ve tried BB creams before to pleasing effect, but I’m pretty sure Bobbi’s version is going to blow away the competition.

    August can’t come soon enough!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love anything more than the Skin Foundation, the Skin Mineral Foundation became my favorite. And it looks like I have a new favorite now… I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this BB Cream! I’m 41 and I have oily/combination skin. The BB Cream gives me good coverage, controls the shine ALL DAY, evens out my skin tone, and my skin looks and feels great all day!
BB Cream is my BFF! :)

I love the BB cream. Love the consistency and the texture. One comment is that the shades could be slightly less yellow.

On another note, if you live near Nordstrom, I suggest that you also try the new Long Wear foundation. It is the replacement for the oil free Natural Finish and the it is great. The colors are much better and less “white” looking. My shade in the Natural Finish was Warm Beige and it is the same in the Long Wear. You will love it. It wears as long as it says.

Thanks for the love! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the texture of NEW BB Cream + NEW Long Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15. We appreciate your comments about BB Cream and have passed them along to the appropriate department. If you’re finding your shade a bit too yellow—Bobbi suggests using one shade lighter as it will blend better and appear slightly less golden.
