In honor of today’s inauguration, I wanted to take a look at some of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue’s other important residents: the pets! From Bo Obama—who I had the pleasure of meeting on a trip to the White House—to Bill Clinton’s cat Socks, some of my favorite images of our presidents show them relaxing with their four-leggedpals.
As a fellow dog person I can attest to it: pets make any home a happier place. So let’s take a few minutes to celebrate these occasionally overlooked but vitally important members of our first families.

Those pets look adorable! I especially like Socks coz I love cats (afraid of dogs LOL) and Bo Obama looks always ready for a photo-shoot session like a model :D
