NYFW Diary: Marc Reagan

Name and Title:  Marc Reagan, Manager of Artistry

Years with Bobbi?  8.5 years   Seasons working New York Fashion Week?  10

What do you enjoy most about Fashion Week?

Learning directly from Bobbi and being creative with makeup. Fashion week is about enjoying your passions for beauty and art and watching that combo walk down the runway.

What’s your favorite Fashion Week moment ever?

Leading my first show, which was WHIT. It was 2010, the year Whitney Pozgay had launched her line. We have developed a beautiful partnership ever since and I have lead her show for the past 2 years.

Name 3 products in your “Fashion Week Survival Kit” (not makeup):

Vitamins, water, and snacks. The snacks range from Snickers and Peanut M&Ms to KIND Bars (The Dark Chocolate, Nuts and Sea Salt ones) and Trader Joe’s Trek Mix. When I’m pushing through the fast paced schedule that is Fashion Week, sometimes I forget to eat!

Okay, now you can list makeup—what can’t you live without as you create looks for the shows?

BBU Palette, Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup, Blush, Mascara.

What trends do you love from this season and what do you think will be big for fall after having seen so many?

In regards to makeup, you’re going to see the soft, smokey taupe eye and rich lip colors. On the runway we saw clothes with beautiful bold blocks of color paired with different patterns, prints and textures.

What trends do you think women can recreate on their own at home?

The modern soft, smokey eye will be a must. It’s sexy, it’s achievable and it’s perfect for fall.

What Bobbi Brown product should we all be lining up to purchase this fall?

Everyone should be lining up for the Chocolate Collection and the Old Hollywood Glamour Palette. The colors and textures are wearable, but feel luxurious and add drama to any basic makeup look.
