African Culture

My friend Debra told me Africa would change my life. And it did, I loved it. Cape Town is stunning. Beaches, mountains, and colors — all of it. The food is fresh, organic, and local. We stayed in a couple amazing camps all arranged by Backroads, a family travel company. One place we stayed called Londolozi which means ‘protector of all living things’ was incredible.

See what we did - from biking and hiking to safari (stay tuned for pictures)! So many highlights I can’t keep it all to one blog post, hence the week-long African posts. Some of my highlights include the villages and people we met. The beautiful children, emerging schools, and community gardens. One night we had dinner with a man who was in Robben Island prison with Mandela. He was fascinating and so charming. Here are a few snaps of the food, people and culture.

XO,

Bobbi
