I’ve always been inspired by Bobbi’s philosophy on beauty, particularly her emphasis on teaching women to be their own skincare experts and makeup artists. But Bobbi is only one person and she can’t be everywhere at once! So she depends on her artistry and education team to impart her tips and techniques to others around the globe. The last few seasons, I’ve traveled to the Asia Pacific region to help train the artistry elite from 13 different countries. On my last trip, I visited Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
The trip began in Hong Kong at our seasonal Bootcamp, where 55 of Asia’s most talented artists come together to learn about Bobbi’s new product launches and artistry tips.
My adventure continued in Australia, where I participated in a Skin Foundation Stick press event and worked with counter artists offering clients the makeup lesson of their choosing. While I had some down time, I was able to explore the breathtaking sites in both Melbourne and Sydney.
The last leg of this incredible trip brought me to New Zealand. I spent time and worked with artists in Auckland, Christchurch and Hamilton. The Britomart freestanding store was particularly memorable, with its naturally-lit makeup stations and beautiful interior! Just before the trip’s close, I took a quick boat ride over to Waiheke Island for some wine and relaxation.
It never ceases to amaze me that a woman can visit any Bobbi Brown counter across the globe and she will always find an artist who feels as close to Bobbi as I do. Traveling always helps me remember that no matter how far the distance, Bobbi artists share her passion to empower women to look and feel Pretty Powerful.
Traveling as much as I do, it’s critical to have some go-to products I can throw together quickly. No matter where I’m going I never travel without Extra Face Oil, Extra Repair Eye Cream and hand sanitizing wipes (they’re easy to get through security!). Check out the rest of my essentials below.
