It’s always exciting to meet women who embrace the “be who you are” philosophy. Yoga instructor Omni Kitts Ferrara is an awesome example of what you can achieve by learning to love your body and yourself. As a teenager, Ferrera battled a serious eating disorder and terrible body image. Rehab, therapy and medication didn’t help, but when she started practicing Anusara Yoga, Ferrara learned to embrace and work with her body.
Today, Ferrara runs a beautiful yoga studio in my hometown, Montclair, NJ. The school of yoga taught there is Anusara, a term that means “follow your heart.” That’s a concept that we should all get behind.
