The Simplest Soup

Simplest Soup

I discovered this soup out of necessity. I was hungry, and home alone. This is a great recipe for summer, because it works with whatever veggies you have on hand.

Bobbi’s Three-Step Soup

1. Cook veggies in chicken or vegetable broth for 10-20 minutes.

2. Add either ginger, onion, or garlic.

3. Blend! Add salt and pepper to taste.

  1. Dear Bobbi!

Thank you for sharing this recipe! I like fresh and quick recipes although cooking is a favorite activity of mine, spending hours in front of the cooker can be exhausting. Since I have been focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients, the time spent in the kitchen has become visibly shorter so I can devote more time doing another fulfilling activities (in addition to the fact, that I am healthy and active).

Meanwhile reading your recipe, a sudden idea popped up – during hot summer days, the method could be elevated to another level just by adding ice cubes before mixing everything up. (Something like a new yellowish version of Spanish gazpacho).
