How to Be Gorgeous at the Beach

How to Be Gorgeous at the Beach

There’s a fine line between Beach Beauty—think sun-kissed skin, tousled hair—and Beach Disaster—splotchy sunburn, dry hair. Here are some essentials that I pack in my beach bag to guarantee I have a gorgeous day at the beach.
Before You Go

Lisa Curran Bathing Suit: I love this classic, simple tank bikini that offers a little more coverage than a normal two-piece, but feels just as comfortable.
Buffing Grains: Made from Adzuki Beans, this natural exfoliant combines perfectly with a foaming cleanser to make my skin glow.
Protective Face Base SPF 50: When I’m preparing to spend a day in the sun, I like to apply sunblock as I would moisturizer. This way, it has time to absorb and I rarely miss a spot.
Sunscreen: This should be a no-brainer. I love Bullfrog sunscreen because it absorbs quickly and stays put all day—I put it on my hands and chest twice, since those areas burn easily. Again, apply before you go to avoid missing hard-to-reach spots.
