My favorite place in the world (other than my home) is probably Telluride. I shouldn’t even talk about it’s complete awesomeness since it really is one of the best kept secrets of Colorado. It’s a more relaxed version of Aspen, as in, there are still all the amazing things to do but the vibe is overall more chill and cool. One of my favorite things to do there besides hitting the slopes or hanging with my family is having friends over to play charades. Neil Armstrong, Susan St. James, Dick Ebersol, Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos are just a few who have partaken in these silly nights.
Walking down the streets, you’re bound to run into celebs in their most relaxed clothing or ski gear, sans makeup — I’m telling you, super chill. Of course, let’s not forget about the amazing scenery. No view is a bad view. Telluride’s beauty inspired me to create a limited edition *Telluride Collection (an online exclusive!) featuring rosy, copper, and bronzy shades for that beautifully natural look.
Tell us what you would be most excited to do if you were in Telluride for a chance to win a 3-night stay plus airfare for two! Oh, and of course I’ll throw in one of my Telluride Collection sets. Click here to enter and maybe we’ll see each other on the slopes!
XO,
Bobbi

Bobbi,
I don’t ski, in fact I’m deathly afraid of it, but my husband loves to ski. He doesn’t go anymore, partially because he thinks I’ll be bored. I’d love for him to go and I can get myself a good book or just people watch (one of my favorite things). He can even get my 12 year old to learn (as long as I don’t have to watch, ha! Ha!) Sometimes it is just as nice to watch someone enjoy something they like to do even if you don’t enjoy it. My husband was kid enough to watch me and my son experience El Torro at Great Adventure this summer, and I’m afraid of heights.

I’ve never been to any of the mountain states, so I’d love to see the landscape at dawn and sunset. Just the majesty of it all would be amazing.

we arrived and were quite happy we were in the first building. it felt easy to unload and load our stuff over the balcony in the driveway. i would have loved a makeup mirror for the bathroom…but all seemed good. would we stay there again, probably with a room just a little bigger than the jr suite we had. i was not happy that we had to pay for parking. but staff was great…the food in the lodge was just okay….we would not eat there again….but we love telluride.

Never was on the Colorado slope but was avid Jackson Hole skier back in the day…….I understand how different & beautiful the West is from our east coast environment. Truly spectacular!

Bobbi. I was born and raised in Chicago but have lived most of my life in Colorado. The whole state is about living a casual outdoor lifestyle and people love to be natural, relaxed, and casual. I love your make-up and wouldn’t wear anything else because you do such great work around helping people enhance their natural look; nothing looks fake or overdone. Alas, the Telluride Collection is lovely, but a little too glittery. I loved it when you released the sand washed color collection several years ago. The colors were perfect because they were soft and easy to wear in Colorado’s bright sunshine. Ahhhhh…just right. Wish they would make a little bit of a comeback. The soft look is just right for relaxing near the fireplace after skiing in the sunshine all day. xoxo

To see the beautiful view from the snow covered mountains would be breathtaking. When I overcame my fear or heights I couldn’t wait to get to the top of the mountains where we ski and snowshoe. Such calmness and power being able to see that vision. The town looks amazing and I bet the people are wonderful. I would love the opportunity to share this with my husband:)

If I were in Telluride, I’d love nothing more than to race my 3 boys and my husband down the mountain!
