In honor of Memorial Day and in celebration of US Service women, I spent a day last week at NEX, a military base exchange store in Bethesda, Maryland. Together with my awesome PRO Artist Tia Hebron, I had the honor of giving one-on-one makeup lessons to active duty military, attending retirees, medical staff, and navy wives—65 lessons in all! Plus, almost all of the proceeds from sales at the exchange went straight back into services for the families who live on the base—so cool.
These women have sacrificed so much for our country—they’re beautiful on the inside out, confident, selfless and strong, and they really epitomize what it means to be Pretty Powerful. Doing their makeup felt like a small gesture, but I could tell how much they were enjoying themselves. At the end of the event, I was awarded a Challenge Coin—a token of respect—which meant a huge amount to me.
It was such an honor to work with these women, and a great reminder of why I do what I do.
Happy Memorial Day!
XO,
Bobbi
Thank you Bobbi!!! I am a Navy nurse and have been in for over 16 years, I have been using all your products for almost as long. Funny story - when I was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, I even brought a few Bobbi necessities to help me to continue to feel like a pretty powerful woman! I’m currently overseas in Japan, but was so excited to see your products finally making it to the Navy Exchanges. As always, your makeup counter is first on my list when I ever get back to the states. Thank you!

Just yet ANOTHER reason to love your products. I’m just a stay at home mom - not a military woman, but I think this was a powerful, kind and really sweet gesture to make our military feel beautiful and appreciated! Well done and bravo. I will continue to be a huge supporter of your products!!
