It’s been years since I’ve needed to go back-to-school shopping with my sons, but I still love the idea of prepping for FalI. Here’s my list of “back to school” essentials–perfect whether you’re hitting the books or not.

Makeup
Cooler weather means it’s time for slightly creamier formulas with a bit more coverage. Swap your summer tinted moisturizer for a medium to full coverage foundation like Skin Foundation Stick. The great thing about this formula is that it blends easily and looks like skin. (Just apply where skin is uneven in the morning, then carry in your purse for perfect skin on-the-go.) Add a little Pot Rouge to cheeks for the perfect hint of creamy color and switch up powder eye shadows with Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick for all day color. For an effortless lip, try Art Stick. It comes in an array of colors that double as a lip stick and lip liner. Finish with a a few coats of blackest black mascara. I love Smokey Eye Mascara for a bolder lash look.

Fall - or autumn, as we say in the UK - is my favourite time of year. I love that ‘back-to-school’, fresh start feel and all the things that go toward a new look - give me a makeup refresh and a cashmere beanie, snood and fingerless wrist-warmers and I’m good to go!

I like soft pink lip gloss lets have more soft colors I have a color on my lips already so the light pink colors come on so dark
